DA DESIGN

Completed in late 1997, architectural and interior design services were provided for the renovation of the historical Mountain States Telephone Building located in the Sugarhouse District of Salt Lake City. The 4,000 square foot building become the office space for the LDI Group, a consulting firm.

Existing bowstring roof trusses were exposed in the creation of an open office plan. Maintaining an industrial design feel for the space was critical as the buildings most recent use was as an automotive garage. Stained concrete flooring, recycled furnishings, and vintage car parts were integrated into the architecture as well as the furnishings.
